ANTAQ - National Waterway Transport Agency – published the auction notice nº 02/2023 – MAC11A. The auction session is scheduled for August 11, 2023, at B3's headquarters in São Paulo.
The MAC11A area is classified as brownfield, has 40,953 m², and is located in the Port of Macéio-AL. It is intended for the movement and storage of liquid bulk, especially fuel and oil, with a contractual term of 25 years.
The project includes new investments worth R$46.45 million for: the development of the terminal; the replacement and installation of new equipment and structures; and services related to infrastructure outside the rental area. The terminal will have a total static capacity of 10,760 m³.
Currently, the area is being explored by Transpetro - Petrobras Transporte S. A., with existing assets with estimated values of R$42.6 million that must be compensated by the future lessee in the first year of the contract.
In addition to the assets included in the Notice as a form of compensation, the modeling considered an alternative scenario where non-reversible assets, intended for fuel operations, can be acquired by the winner of the bid, allowing operation in the first contractual year. Thus, a minimum BID of R$ 15.063 million was stipulated due to the variation between the reference and alternative scenarios.
